Black River The Huntsman (Wilbur) is New Zealand’s first foal sired by Pennal The Great. This breeding was achieved via A.I. using frozen semen. Black River Welsh Cobs would like to thank Belle Thomson for offering the services of her stallion internationally, Emily Ensor for importing the semen to NZ, and our awesome vet, Donna Williamson. This boy’s arrival has really been a team effort! Wilbur will be retained by the stud.
